The last six weeks of the life of the Irish republican hunger striker Bobby Sands.
Instead I was hoping for a documentary. I was proven wrong as this film is not about any IRA or Irish history facts. It is a strong reminder of how people were (and might still) be treated in prisons. I felt more like watching "Das Experiment" again...
So I would recommand "Hunger" only to people who know all about the Irish "Troubles", all others might be better off gaining some information on the background first.
